The Founding Story
The Clap and Tap Federation was formed by the young people who formed part of several strong household in the clap and tap community. This was upon the realization that the genre is being exploited for its lack or ignorance in the business side of the music. The founding members of the organization recruited like minded and powerful leaders in the genre by sharing their vision about an organization that speaks for all and shares the views of the voiceless.
A transparent, progressive and Inclusive movement was a constant thought lingering in their minds. “Great minds think alike” was the realization of the 9 provinces who were approached during the formulation of the structure in April 2020. It has caught rapidly in the clap and tap community and only after 2 weeks of forming, it had achieved results, partners and allies who were serving the genre in silos.
The coming together of different states in this case, different entities united to form one strong federation. With the strategic objective came the formation of The Clap and Tap Federation.

Capacity Building
Capacity Building programme focuses on equipping clap and tap choirs with a base knowledge of project management, music business, fundraising and compliance.
Business Development
Business Development is aimed at offering business management knowledge and guidance to all business that are part of the clap and tap community in South Africa and globally.
Integrated Development
Integrated development programme focuses on on-boarding already established business and choirs for the purpose transforming other smaller brands through coaching and mentorship.
